Redmi Note 8 PRO Google Camera + Gcam vs Stock

GCAM for Redmi Note 8 Pro


The biggest concern about Redmi Note 8 Pro was that it will not support Google Camera because of its Mediatek processor. But thankfully, some brilliant developers have now made a working GCAM for Redmi Note 8 Pro. You can watch the below video explaining how to install GCAM on your Redmi Note 8 Pro perfectly and it also showcases the comparison between the camera output of the stock camera app and google camera.






Step 1 :- Download the apk file and an xml configuration file from the below link,

xml file :- http://bit.ly/xml_file

Step 2 :- Install Gcam apk on your Redmi Note 8 Pro.

Step 3 :- Go to More - Settings - Save settings - (and enter any name as configs name)

Step 4 :- Open "File Manager" and copy the above xml configuration file that has been downloaded.

Step 5 :- Go to Gcam folder - Configs - (paste that xml configuration file inside configs)

Step 6 :- Open Google camera app


Step 8 :- Select the name of the downloaded xml configuration file from the pop-up menu

Step 9 :- Click "Restore"


Done!! Now the Gcam is successfully installed on your Redmi Note 8 Pro.
